Information we collect
When you send an inquiry, we collect the information you provide, including:
- your name and email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to provide it;
- your message and the page from which you contacted us; and
- any trip details you provide, such as the quest, travel window, group size, or dive certification.
We also process limited technical information used to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, browser user agent, request timing, and anti-spam signals.
How we use your information
- to respond to your inquiry and discuss a requested trip;
- to prepare, administer, and keep appropriate records of a booking;
- to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website; and
- to meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
Depending on the circumstances and the law that applies, we process this information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or for our legitimate interests in answering inquiries and protecting our services. We do not use an inquiry to send unrelated marketing unless you separately choose to receive it.
Website analytics and external content
We use a privacy-focused analytics service to understand aggregated website activity, such as pages viewed, approximate location, referring website, browser, operating system, and device type. It does not receive the contents of contact forms, and we do not use analytics to create cross-site advertising profiles. Our current analytics configuration does not set analytics cookies.
Images and videos may be delivered by specialist media-hosting providers. A video from an external video platform is loaded only when you choose to play it where practical. These providers receive the technical information your browser normally sends when it requests content, which can include your IP address and browser information.
Who we share information with
We share information only when needed with service providers that support website hosting, email delivery, analytics, media delivery, security, and other business operations. If you ask us to arrange a trip, we may also share relevant details with accommodation, transport, diving, activity, or other local travel providers where this is necessary to answer your request or provide the service. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights.
International processing
Our service providers and travel partners may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires it, we use an accepted transfer mechanism or other appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, plan requested travel, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Technical and security information is kept only for as long as needed for fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and service security. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed for those purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive a portable copy. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email info@coralquests.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
